There is a hot fight between the top two non-hormonal anabolics, but many people still don’t know whether these two “hormones” are suppressive or not! Along those lines are all progestins “free” from suppressive side effects?
These two anabolics have one thing in common and while there is a lot of debate on which one is the most “effective” but my feeling is that 6-KP is the clear winner here. You can read more about it here:
That being said, people want to know the side effects of using anabolics like these.
RECEPTORS & PCT
Neither compound seems to react to any of the classic receptors like the androgen, estrogen or progesterone receptor. In several studies, neither 6-KP nor any of the laxogenin steroids had any “hormonal” activity in a classic sense.
They also don’t seem to have any corticosteroid activity which means that they don’t pull or expel water from your system or change your mineral balance.
One theory is that they work on increasing messenger RNA which takes the protein to be made from the nucleus and runs it out to the sarcoplasm to be made into myosin (the stuff that pulls).
A second theory is that they reduce myostatin, which can help to reduce muscle tear down.
No one is really sure the exact method of activity for these products, but no matter what we do know is that neither of these supplements will cause any shut down nor require any PCT.
They should stack REALLY well with prohormones and also with testosterone boosters like Novedex XT and Rise and Swell. Also, they should stack well with other myostatin reducing agents like epicatechin and creatine monohydrate. Both of those compounds should have an additive effect on the mass building.
