I am in love with D- Aspardic Acid (DAA). I want to buy it roses, give it foot rubs, hold its hand, and make home movies with it. Why? keep reading and you’ll want to put a ring on its finger just like I do.
D-Aspartic Acid is the D conformation of the amino acid Aspartic Acid. It is not the same as L-Aspartic acid, but scandalous supplement companies will try to trick you by putting this version in their test boosters and pre workouts.
How DAA SHOULD Be Taken
Since its in pre workouts I have to clear this up right now before we get to all its ooey goodness: You take this first thing in the morning not pre workout!
2-3 g on an empty stomach for 5 days on, 2 days off. That means first thing in the morning is the best time to take it when you actually make your testosterone for the day. Unless you lift at the crack of dawn it doesn’t do much in a pre-workout. Studies done in men with normal testosterone showed diminishing returns after 6-12 days. So I advise to do 5 on, then 2 off and continue as long as you get the effects. For post cycle andropause (low testosterone) and natural andropause I suggest 90 days of use. DAA if taken with anti-estrogens and hCG is your best bet to turning your testosterone machinery back on.
How it works
DAA binds acts on the brain to increase Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle stimulating Hormone (FSH). It also amplifies the testes ability to release stored testosterone. This grants enormous benefits to people with low testosterone and fertility.
26% of previously infertile men conceived children within 90 days of DAA use, and sperm motility and count improved 50-100%. So for all those men post cycle, this will help you get your wife pregnant and assuage her fears your steroid cycle has rendered you sterile. Even better news: DAA increases the response of the body to hCG when used for male infertility. Both act in similar ways but this amplifies the response so there is a synergistic effect similar to GHRP-6 and CJC on GH release.
Studies have show no benefit to decreasing body fat, increasing muscle mass, or increasing power. Probably because DAA wasn’t cycledin those experiments and you can’t make changes to your body in 6 days. You can’t. Sorry. No, no you cant. Promise.
If these studies were done in the men who previously had low testosterone and or had cycled the DAA then the results would be different. one more thing I would ask the researchers: “Do you even lift?” Most researchers know as much as their lab rats about lifting and I trust them to write an effective routine as much as I trust the lab rats to do my taxes.
Some of us don’t do to much thinking with our brain, but if you do on occasion this will make DAA even more appealing: It is localized to regions in the brain associated with memory. In Alzheimer patients it is found in very low concentrations compared to control groups. In rats administered DAA they could navigate a memory maze much more efficiently than control groups. And DAA inhibits a signal in neurons which causes neuronal self destruction. Simple way to put it is it protects your brain cells, prevents alzheimer’s, and increases memory. Its these actions on the brain which lead to the LH and FSH release and eventually testosterone release.
One Last Thing
The most profound and dramatic change with this amino acid is your sex drive tends to skyrocket overnight. In fact, your testes respond so fast they get larger in as short a time as 12 hours. Make sure to warn your wife or girlfriend because they might not be cool with your increased sex drive.
