We are humans by birth and that means we make mistakes. We have to make choices every day, every minute and sometimes those choices are not easy. Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly because I guarantee there is someone out there who is working harder than you. Sometimes I lack the motivation to lift. Being a senior in college and taking on an 18 credit load while teaching personal fitness classes and working full time is challenging. But for me, I think of working out as my job. I make time for what is important in my life. You have to want it more than you can see it.  Sure the results might not show tomorrow, but it’s the hope that soon enough in time, you will be able to discover a better You! It’s all protocol so let the gainz do the talking.

Here is a short video clip of some wide grip upright rows that I did earlier in the week. If I were you, I would start taking progress pictures and workout videos of yourself when you go to the gym.  It will help motivate you to becoming better and stronger. You will also be able to see your form and perhaps take away some constructive criticism on your lifts. What are you doing to be a better You? Of course working hard and going to the gym may seem like the simple things sometimes, but don’t forget to make your mental game stronger. Focus on your weaknesses and strengths. Most importantly, don’t let anyone tell you any different of the capability you have in being great! I have seen myself grow throughout this past year and I have never had more self confidence then I do now. Love yourself, Be yourself and Be true to yourself!!!!
