1) Sweet Potato Fries

Instead of normal fries, boil sweet potatoes until tender. Then, cut them into thin fries. In order to reduce fat intake, spray a pan with PAM 0 calorie spray and fry them. Lightly salted and seasoned with some herbs this is a very healthy alternative to normal fries.

2) Turkey Burgers

Replace your beef burger with a healthier turkey burger. Buy lean ground turkey (93/7). In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, seasoning (low sodium), egg whites, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook the patties in a medium skillet over medium heat.

3) Hummus and celery

Potato chips?! No…. in order to ensure a healthy diet, stick to veggies and protein-rich hummus. Make your own hummus or buy healthy choices from the store (click here).

4) Crystal Light

Pop or soda? Neither, stick to low or zero calorie drinks. The amount of sugar and calories consumed just from pop is extremely high when there is such simple alternatives.
